Drawings are a very important tool for communicating ideas for many engineering disciplines, especially product engineers. Product engineers often have a mechanical engineering background, and design physical products for consumer use. This is an example of a drawing made on a tablet which offers convenience for several reasons. Drawing diagrams on a tablet provides a visual aid to stakeholders with graphics that can be clearer than pencil on paper because of the availability of bold colors and varied line widths. Tablet drawings are also incredibly convenient because of they are easy to edit. If someone wants to modify the idea that I have sketched on my tablet, I can easy toggle layers or use an erase tool to modify my drawing without the mess of an eraser that isn’t going to make a clean elimination. Tablet drawings are a very underrated tool in the engineering world that can clarify product ideas during discussions and guarantee clear concept discussion.
